COUNTDOWN TO JANUARY 11 MINISTRY LAUNCH

The Made For More Vision

At Southside, we believe every person is created in God’s image and called into His story. Our mission is simple — to love God, love people, and make disciples.

This mission includes every teenager, no matter their abilities.

Made For More is a ministry for tweens and teens (grades 6-12) with special needs, designed to create a safe, joyful, and faith-centered community. Here, every student is welcomed, known, and loved as they discover that they are truly made for more.

A Place to Belong

Every student deserves a place where they feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

In Made For More, students build friendships, grow in their faith, and experience the joy of belonging to a spiritual family.

Sundays with Made For More

Worship, 9:30 AM

While our church family gathers for worship, the Made For More classroom will be open for anyone who needs access to a calming, sensory-friendly space with parent supervision.

Bible Class, 11:00 AM

During Bible class, Made For More students gather for hands-on, multi-sensory learning experiences that bring God’s Word to life. We use the Awe & Wonder adapted curriculum — designed to help every student encounter Jesus through praise, Bible stories, music, activities, and prayer.

Buddies

Volunteer buddies are available to provide one-on-one support as needed, ensuring each student can participate comfortably and fully.

United with Southside Youth Group

Made For More is part of our broader Southside Youth Group (SSYG) — a community helping middle and high school students discover faith, friendship, and purpose.

Our ministry follows a model of reverse inclusion, meaning Made For More students will regularly connect with other teens through shared events and activities. Likewise, SSYG students are encouraged to serve as volunteer buddies and friends in the Made For More community.

Together, we are building a church family where every student — of every ability — belongs.
