Tarrant County Jail Ladie's Ministry

The ministry leaders of our ladies’ ministry at the Tarrant County Jail are Chloe Carter and Delilah Cook. We believe that God has commanded us to be sensitive to those incarcerated (Matt. 25:44-45). The congregation at Southside has been actively involved for many years in the lives of those who are in recovery or in a transitional phase of their lives. We believe that God has placed us at this location in the inner city to touch the lives of those who struggle so they can find their way back to God. We have been given a burden to help as many as we can in their struggle to know the Savior and build a relationship with Him.

At the present time, we are giving the Life Recovery Bible to each person that attends this study. Our goal is to plant the seed of God’s word in the heart of each one of the students/inmates and pray it will produce a faithful and obedient heart and a burning desire to read God’s word. We want to be a spiritual support for the women in Tarrant County Jail and also when they get out.
