Southside Church of Christ Building

Southside is a church that is trying to follow Christ. We want to be Christians only – nothing more and nothing less. We believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Lord and he leads us in every part of who we are. We believe the best way for us to follow Christ is to do what he told his disciples right before he left earth:

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you, and surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Mt. 28:19-20)

We also believe that the best way to carry out this mission is by simply being like Jesus, specifically in three ways:

Being Missionaries - We are people sent into the world.

Showing Mercy - To those around us, we are the hands and feet of Jesus.

Bringing Transformation – We are a place where lives can be changed through God’s Spirit.

We want to carry out this mission to those in our neighborhood, in our city, and in the world. We would love for you to join us in our mission and be a part of God’s work at Southside!
