Southside welcomes those in the deaf and hearing-impaired community. We are committed to ensuring deaf individuals and their families experience meaningful worship, teaching, and interaction. We offer ASL interpretation during the 9:30 am worship service each Sunday, and we have a sign language Bible study class after worship each week.
The deaf community is one of the largest unreached people groups in the world. The heart of the Deaf Ministry at Southside is to see the deaf community come to know Jesus Christ as Savior, grow in their relationship with Him, and take that same message to their friends and family. We want to create an atmosphere where this is possible.
An American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter serves weekly in the Sunday 9:30 a.m. Worship service. Our ASL interpreter will be located in the front-right section of the auditorium.
Following our Sunday worship, we have Bible study classes from 11:00-11:45 am. We do offer a class for those who are deaf in Room 111.
Wednesday night classes at 6:30pm.
