Christian Care Centers, Inc. a ministry of churches of Christ, is committed to providing housing and health care services for senior adults and others with special needs in a loving and compassionate environment which encourages relationships, independency, and diginity through spiritual, physical, social and recreational programs. Several members of the Southside Church of Christ have and currently live in one of these centers. For many years, Southside has supported this ministry.

For 41 years, Forter's Home for Children has demonstrated the ability to meet the needs of troubled children and families by providing residential group care, foster family care, and adoptions. Foster's Home services, based on strong Christian values are presented by our professional staff in an educational approach, teaching appropriate skills for interactive living. The day to day operations are supported by faithful individuals donors and approximately 300 Churches of Christ throughout Texas. Southside Church of Christ has supported this work financially for many years. In fact, several members have served on the board of directors.

South Central AllianceSouth Central Alliances of Churches

The South Central Alliance is a group of concerned Churches providing emergency assistance, "In the Name and Spirit of Christ," for the South Central area of Fort Worth, serving zip codes 76104, 76109, and 76110. Emergency assistance services can include rent assistance, assistance with utility bills, medication, food, gasoline, bus passes and other services. The Southside Church of Christ provides SCAC with an office in which they can serve our neighborhood.

VOA Texas Volunteers of America

Volunteers of America is one of the natin's largest and most comprehensive human services organizations, serving more than 2 million people each year, including at-risk youth, the frail elderly, men and women returning from prison, homeliss individuals and families, people with disabilities, and those recovering from addictions. Southside Church of Christ partners with two VOA of the addiction recovery facilities by volunteering to pick up residents for worship service as well as helping with special festivals and activities.
