Life Groups Grey

Life Groups

We'll be starting up Life Groups soon! These are small Bible study groups for guys and girls, and this time we'll be studying through the Gospel of Luke.

The purpose of Life Groups is not just to study, but to share life - we need each other to help us power through when times are tough, and to celebrate with us when good things happen.

Keep an eye out here for more information about when and where life groups will meet.

We hope you can join!

College Day 2017

Each year we host a College Day at Southside, where we invite college students to join us for worship, have a time of getting to know one another, and share a meal together.

This year, College Day is on Sunday, September 10, at 9:30am, followed by class time and then lunch.

Every college student who joins us that day will be entered to win a door prize, and we've got some awesome giveaways, so come check us out, and bring your friends, too!

9:30am - Worship at Southside

The highlight of our week is gathering to worship God on Sundays. This is a time for the whole body to gather together to sing, pray, take the Lord's Supper, give, and hear the Word. Most of all, it is a time to be transformed by God and made into His image.

11am - Bible Study at Southside

After worship, we have a time of study and fellowship in smaller groups. This is an important time to learn more about God's will for you, to grow in community with others at church, and to develop a deeper and healthier spiritual life.

Wednesday Night Classes - 7pm

On Wednesday nights, we offer a variety of Bible study class options. Here are our current offerings:

Learning to Love Your Neighbor - Steve Fields - Fellowship Hall:  We want to obey the command to "love your neighbor as yourself," but it can be challenging to know what this looks like. Sometimes we don't even know who our "neighbor" is, often we wonder what their needs are, and we wonder how to help meet those needs. This class aims to bring in neighbors and hear from them about what their needs are. Learn how to love college students, aging people, refugees, homeless, and others.

Armor of God - Jan Hegi - Room 115: This class begins at 6:30pm. This women's Bible class is working through the book Armor of God, by Priscilla Shirer, using the book and corresponding videos, as well as discussion together.

Wednesday night is a great time to meet people who are different from you and to feel a greater connection to the church family. Come join us!
